For more information, click this link and visit the Fairfax County Health Department. This organization is your best resource for information on vaccines and other health care options. In addition to their location, you can also find out more about the cost of these procedures.

Locations

Six new locations will soon offer COVID-19 testing. The Health Department in Fairfax County, Virginia, is partnering with Curative to provide free PCR tests. The locations will be open two days a week, starting Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Results will be available within a day or two. A spokeswoman for the health department said the new sites will be in areas of the county where people may not have easy access.

The COVID-19 administration office is located at 10777 Main Street in Fairfax. Call center hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. However, it is not a clinic. Instead, this office is a resource for residents and the public. COVID-19 symptoms include cough, shortness of breath, fever, and a rash. COVID-19 is a highly contagious virus that can be transmitted through close contact with infected people.

Dates

While COVID-19 transmission levels are still below the levels of recent winter months, the number of cases in Fairfax County, Virginia has increased. The number of hospitalized cases has climbed to 167 from a low point of 77 on March 22. The number of cases reported by the Fairfax Health District, which includes the cities of Falls Church and Fairfax, is below the low threshold of 373 cases per day. Despite this, the number of cases reported in the past week is at its highest level since February 18. As of April 20, the county recorded 191 cases in total, which is more than double the number of cases in the past two weeks.

The current COVID-19 case data dashboard was last updated on March 30, 2022. The changes were made to reflect the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Virginia Department of Health. Fairfax County’s emergency information blog provides more information on the new dashboard. The county’s website also contains links to other resources for the public. It is worth visiting these websites regularly, especially since they contain a lot of important information regarding the outbreak of COVID.

Cost

There are no statistics on the cost of Fairfax County VA and COVID. Thousands of people are infected each year, with more than 35,000 deaths reported in the state since the pandemic began. The County Board of Supervisors is considering a permanent memorial to the people who have been killed by the disease. Last summer, the chair of the Board of Supervisors held a vigil for the victims.

The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) monitors the COVID-19 outbreak in Fairfax County. The Virginia Department of Health said this week that the number of COVID-19 cases in Fairfax County was medium – an increase of about six cases in one day compared to a week ago. In fact, the average number of new cases in Fairfax County decreased from ninety-two cases a year ago to 98.9 this week, which is well below the hundred-case threshold considered high transmission.

Vaccines

The Fairfax County Health Department, the health authority for the county, is one of the places where residents can get their vaccines. This is because the Fairfax VA County Health Department serves the Fairfax Health District. However, the Fairfax Workers Coalition, a non-profit organization that represents lower-paid county employees, has identified the need to educate these workers about the vaccine. Since front-line workers are not seated in front of a computer all day, outreach efforts have not been reaching these individuals.

Currently, children ages six months and older are eligible for vaccines. However, retail pharmacies cannot give shots to children under the age of three years old. Fortunately, Walgreens and CVS have announced they will now give vaccinations to children over three years of age, with an appointment required. While these clinics are limited in the number of vaccinations they offer, the availability of these vaccines is encouraging for parents. Parents should book their appointments early to ensure they receive the vaccine they need.
